Hosted in your home or chosen venue, these hands-on experiences are guided by Dough Artisan Luke Marino and designed to be shared, learned, and enjoyed together.

Private pizza masterclasses, made personal.

What to expect

A Marino & The Dough private experience is a fully guided, hands-on pizza masterclass hosted in your own space.

You and your guests will:

  • Make Neapolitan-style dough from scratch

  • Learn real techniques used by professionals

  • Stretch, top, and bake your own pizzas

  • Sit down and enjoy what you’ve made together

  • This is not a demonstration or a drop-in class.

It is personal, interactive, and tailored to your group.

  • Birthdays and celebrations

  • Couples looking for something different

  • Family gatherings

  • Food lovers and home cooks

  • Small groups wanting a shared experience

If you value good food, learning by doing, and a relaxed but refined atmosphere, you’ll feel right at home.

Why pricing varies

Group experiences are priced per person because the experience is shared across more guests.

Every booking receives the same care, ingredients, and expertise. Smaller sessions are simply more focused by design.

Smaller bookings are priced differently because they involve:

  • This is a one booking, one group experience. Luke isn’t running multiple sessions side by side or rotating between tables. The entire class is delivered just for you, in your space, with the pace and flow built around your group. That level of privacy means the session is structured end to end around your kitchen setup, your timing, and the kind of night you want.

  • Smaller groups naturally get more hands-on coaching per person. Luke can watch technique closely, correct small details (hydration feel, shaping pressure, stretching control), and step in at the exact moment it matters. There’s also more time for questions, troubleshooting, and individual feedback, so everyone leaves confident they can repeat it at home without guesswork.

  • With fewer guests, more of the work happens before Luke even arrives. Prep is customised to your group and your kitchen: dough timing, tools on hand, bench space, oven type, and how much you want to focus on fundamentals versus fine-tuning. On the day, guidance can be adapted in real time, whether you want a slower, step-by-step build or to explore specific techniques and toppings in more detail.

To host a private masterclass, you’ll need:

  • Space for 6–10 people around a table

  • A large table or tables pushed together

  • Access to water and a sink

  • A sheltered, outdoor-friendly setup

  • A private home or bookable venue

“We’re still talking about the pizzas.”

Luke hosted it perfectly, from the first stretch of dough to the final bake. Everything was easy to follow, and he made sure everyone got involved without it ever feeling rushed or awkward. The end result was unreal, proper restaurant-quality pizza we were genuinely proud of, and a night we’re still talking about.

  • Luke Marino hosting an outdoor pizza masterclass, guests gathered around a table with drinks, fresh herbs, and a pizza oven nearby.

“Better than a typical night out.”

We did a Marino & The Dough class and it was such a fun and different experience. Making pizza from scratch together felt relaxed and social, but still genuinely special, and Luke made the whole thing easy to follow from start to finish. It’s the kind of shared experience people keep talking about afterwards.

    “Great food, great company.”

We had the best time with Marino & The Dough. Luke ran the session in such a relaxed, confident way and made it easy for everyone to jump in, no matter their experience level. It felt social and effortless, but we still learnt plenty along the way, and the pizzas turned out seriously good. A proper feel-good experience that brought everyone together.

    “Proper team building, done right.”

We booked Marino & The Dough for a team event and it couldn’t have been better. Luke ran everything with a calm, professional flow that made it easy for everyone to get involved, even the people who don’t normally cook. It felt hands-on and social without any awkward “team building” moments, and the group genuinely connected while learning something new. A great shared experience, and one we’d happily do again.
